Have Your Mind Blown at LA’s Museum of Illusions

(LA Trend) — For many, art museums are the sorts of places that only the most sophisticated art-lovers could appreciate, and are certainly liable to bore small children.

However, the Los Angeles Museum of Illusions is here to create a museum-going experience that everyone can marvel at, whether you’re an art connoisseur or just a casual dabbler in the fine arts.

Founded in 2018, this museum is famous for its awe-inspiring 3D illusions, consisting of more than thirty eye-popping images inspired by cartoons, art, current events, movies, nature, and much more! The Museum of Illusions is one of the first museums designed just for Instagram.

Having recently undergone a massive upgrade, the museum updated all of their existing works and have added completely new exhibitions. One of the most impressive of their new additions is the Upside Down House, featuring seven interactive upside-down rooms, including a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and others. If you’ve always wondered what it would feel like to walk on walls like Spider-Man, now’s your chance. Or maybe you just want to psyche out your friends on social media—the Museum of Illusions doesn’t just allow flash photography, it encourages it!

Of course, there’s still plenty more to explore at this two-story museum: guests can get up close and personal with elephants at the African safari exhibit, make a grand appearance with legendary musical artists in front of a massive crowd of screaming fans, walk the edge of a skyscraper in a risky escape mission, steal treasure from a hungry dragon in a cavernous dungeon, and stroll down the red carpet of a Hollywood film premiere with world-famous actors and directors.

Some of the top artists in the world contribute to the works at the Museum of Illusions, with new exhibitions being added frequently. Built on imagination and whimsy, this is a museum that’s bound to turn you into a repeat customer.
