(LA Trend) — Join the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for a special Valentine’s Day online art class that’s perfect for the whole family! In the “Pins to Love” workshop, participants will learn how to experiment with a range of materials, including felt, fabric, paper, and small found objects to design and create wearable art that would make great gifts to give to the ones you love.
The class will be taught by Valentina M. Quezada, a practicing artist and educator who works in the greater L.A. area in organizations such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Hollywood Bowl, and Barnsdall Arts, and is currently the Youth and Family Programs Specialist at the USC Pacific Asia Museum.
This class will be held online and can be joined through your internet-connected computer, laptop, or tablet.
Participants will be sent a Zoom link and art materials list prior to the workshop. The recommended art materials provided by the teaching artist should be purchased before the class begins.
“Family Art Class: Pins to Love” is recommended for participants five years and older.
