(LA Trend) — The Comedy Chateau and The Art of Being Yay are thrilled to present Straight-ish Talk, a hilarious comedy show and fabulous fundraiser to benefit Free Mom Hugs, featuring a showcase of LGBTQIA+ comedy lineup including Abe Farrell, Miguel Rojas, Tuesday Thomas, Billy McCartney, Camille Solari, Aidan Park, and Deven Bouchet.
Billy McCartney: Billy McCartney hails from Denton, Texas and went to college at Oklahoma City University where he obtained a BFA in Acting. Currently residing in Los Angeles, McCartney sells tea and wine to pay for his horribly debilitating acting and stand-up comedy habit.
Camille Solari: Camille Solari is a headlining stand-up comic who’s performed in more than fifteen countries around the world. She’s been seen on Comedy Central and on The Arsenio Hall Show. Solari is the creator and star of the hit television series, Charlie, on Roku, which has over 35 million viewers. The show tells the story of a toddler and her dog who solve neighborhood problems with the help of her animal friends while her comedian mom (Solari) experiences the trials and tribulations of being a new mom.
Aidan Park: Aidan Park is an L.A.-based comedian who originally hails from South Korea. His high-energy live sets focus on his unique life experiences as a gay, once undocumented Korean immigrant, and other weird occurrences from becoming a young widower to being raised by his conservative grandmother who didn’t speak english but somehow knew her way to every casino in the state of California. Park has been seen on Perez Hilton, Celebuzz TV, TV Guide Channel and West Coast Comedy Live! Aidan is also a club favorite in Hollywood as he performs in his own monthly shows at major venues like The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and Flappers Comedy Club.
Deven Bouchet: Deven Bouchet began his career in comedy after being told by actress / comedian / author / television personality Sherri Shepherd that he was funny and asked if he ever considered doing stand-up. Bouchet soon took a “Six Weeks to Stand Up Comedy Workshop” with the legendary Rudy Moreno, The Godfather of Comedy, and never looked back, and has since gone on to perform at such legendary comedy joints as The Ice House in Pasadena, The Gotham Comedy Club in New York, The Laugh Factory in Long Beach, and several other major clubs and venues in the Los Angeles area.
